When Hitachi Web Server uses the reverse proxy function, the amount of used memory might increase because of illegal responses continuously received from the back-end web server. Please note that this vulnerability corresponds to CVE-2008-2364.

Vulnerability description

When Hitachi Web Server uses the reverse proxy function, the amount of used memory might increase because of illegal responses continuously received from the back-end web server. This might cause Hitachi Web Server to run out of memory, or processes running on the server to go down.

Malicious users can exploit this vulnerability to cause these problems. Affected products and versions are listed below. Please upgrade to the fixed version.
This problem can occur if your system uses the Hitachi Web Server reverse proxy function.
